Asocolflores, in alliance with the Colombian training agency – SENA, inaugurated the first School of Abilities and Skills for Flower Workers

This project was proposed by Asocolflores to the government three years ago. Finally, the government was able to make available the required funds to start operations. Here flower workers can acquire the required knowledge to become professionals in this field.

During 2020, all school instructors received training and the methodological processes were defined.

In these facilities the flower workers learn in innovative training environments, allowing them to improve their motor abilities and skills. This project will also help to establish a better personnel selection for new apprentices, especially for the seasonal flower collection periods.

This School of Abilities and Skills will promote continuous improvement to competitiveness.
